Mary Buschhorn, Ruth Salmons and Lori Chivington will present 3 approaches to using rags in modern weaving projects.
Ruth will present, “Weaving Rugs, beyond the basics.”
Lori will share her exploration of rag weaving and share ideas from books and articles.
Mary Buschhorn likes to think outside the box and will share ways to incorporate different materials and designs into rugs.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at this program. Please bring your own rag projects to share.

The March meeting is an opportunity to share the anecdotes and memories from the last 20 years of Weaving Indiana Guild. Those memories can be shared in writing or in person at the March Celebration. Please plan to attend with your many experiences, multiple samples of your successful (and not so successful) projects to share, and an opportunity to enjoy the company of other weavers. Don’t forget your samples for inserts in the cards we’ll be making.

Susan Conover began spinning and weaving in 1980 and spent the next three decades studying under numerous national and international instructors. Her focus has always been on the historic aspects of her chosen craft.
Susan's presentation, Setts in All Their Glory, will be filled with oodles of pertinent information for the handweaver when it comes to obtaining the proper sett for your next project. This meeting will not be recorded!
