Results of the Guild Challenge: Profile Drafts
November's guild program will be members sharing what they have planned/ woven from this year's guild challenge: Profile Drafting. Send pictures to Ruth at [email protected] by November 17th, or show during the Zoom meeting, what you've done with the profile drafts from the March program. If you planned something but haven't woven it yet, please share what you have.
If time allows, those who attended the Double Rainbow workshop will share about that experience and what they've woven.
The Tapestry Study Group also plans to share their 2021 projects at the November meeting.

Adding Borders to Your Weaving
Have you ever finished a weaving project and thought that it just needed something more, or perhaps seen a draft that would look perfect for a project but realized that it needed some kind of finishing element? When choosing to make a handwoven item we decide what color, fiber and structure to use to make it. We should also consider the design, or “graphic” and often this consists of framing the design with some kind of border. In this presentation we will look at different ways to make decorative borders on woven items.
